Microsoft Dynamics AX services are wholly focused on user roles and productivity gains through constant focus on tasks and duties that employees have to manage daily. Damgaard Axapta got renamed to Navision Axapta while Navision Financials got renamed to Navision Attain.

In 2007 Axapta was rebranded as Dynamics AX. Dynamics AX 2009 is the latest release of Dynamics AX which was released in 2008 and is available all over the world in 40 languages. Country-specific functionalities are added to it as per regional policies.
